Martyn is the Managing Director and owner of the business.
For as long as he cares to remember (25 years!) he has been involved in the Legal and Insurance sector. Martyn gained significant experience via Direct Line Insurance starting in Sales before progressing to claims and then to complex claims handling before handling specialised complex cases on behalf of the Motor Insurer’s Bureau. It is fair to say that within the Motor Insurance arena there is not much he hasn’t seen or come across over those 10 years.
Martyn moved to Churchill Insurance working as a complex case handler and Team Manager for 3 years. It was at this stage he was fortunate enough to meet his fellow Director, David Reeves. A change of direction beckoned when an opportunity arose to join a claimant law practice as a Practice Manager with a specific remit to introduce a case management system into a growing company.
Grow it did; from 15 people to 450 and Martyn working with the rest of the team was instrumental in growing the Practice. During his time, he oversaw the IT area including systems and case management along with the operational areas of the practice.
With a particular strength and a deep knowledge of IT systems; database management and case management software in 2016 he formed Rubix Software to create software solutions to the Legal and Insurance Sectors. Martyn is proud of having created a team who take absolute pride in delivery of systems and products to clients.
When spare time allows, Martyn enjoys walking with friends and recently undertook the London Loop which is a 150-mile loop around the green parts of London. He is also an avid Manchester United fan (since 1979 so way before the Fergie years!).
